

Simona Strava-Stoica
Simona Strava is an associate in the CMS Corporate M&A team in Romania with significant experience in corporate and commercial transactions. She advises a variety of international and domestic clients on transactional and regulatory matters, and particularly on employment related aspects.
Her expertise covers issues related to the mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and reorganisation, regulatory, commercial and employment, being actively involved in a number of complex transactions across various industry sectors and in providing practical and operational day-to-day advice to the clients. Simona is well familiar with the regulatory regime facing the companies and is experienced in the compliance side of their operations. She is also a member of the CMS pan-European Life Sciences & Healthcare, Consumer Products and TMT sector working groups.

– CEE Equity Partners on its majority acquisition of Farmavet-Pasteur Group.
– A CEE private equity firm on two market transforming transactions in the Romanian optical sector: the acquisition of the leading retail and distributor on the Romanian optical market and the add-on acquisition of the number 2 player in the Romanian optical retail market.
– On the Romanian aspects of the €18.4bn sale of Liberty Global’s European assets to Vodafone.
– A leading global provider of plastic packaging and the largest producer of packaging in Europe, on a number of acquisitions in Romania.
– The majority shareholder of a listed company in exploring available financing options, including a potential secondary public offering of shares held in the company.
– The largest manufacturer of footwear and fastest growing footwear company in Europe, listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, on the acquisition of its franchised business in Romania that included a retail network of 56 footwear stores throughout Romania.
