Sebastian Constantin Calancea

Sebastian is a member of our Commercial department, focusing on providing legal assistance on labor and commercial law matters, including representation in labor disputes. He assisted local and international clients operating in construction, banking & finance, IT&C, waste management, pharmaceuticals, energy and retail industries, as well as public institutions, in connection with various commercial and employment disputes, regarding contractual liability, complex disciplinary cases, collective negotiations, and also day-to-day business matters.

Highlights of his activity include assisting:

-several clients in the banking & finance, retail and IT&C industries, as well as public institutions regarding high-profile dismissals and collective labor conflicts;

-a major construction company in matters involving the contractual liability of public institutions and public procurement procedures;

-a leading waste management company regarding disputes on the increase of service fees applicable for the services provided to the public community;

-several public institutions regarding the restitution of real estate assets that were unlawfully taken over by the Romanian state.
