Sandra is a member of our Banking & Finance team, focused on assisting clients in complex financial transactions, banking regulations, financial market M&A transactions and the development of innovative banking products.
Highlights of her activity include assisting:
– a major European bank in relation to the implementation of an integrated payment services application launched on the Romanian market. The assistance included advice on Romanian banking regulatory legislation, consumer protection legislation, GDPR, AML and numerous other regulatory aspects applicable;
– a Romanian non-banking financial institution in relation to several regulatory matters regarding the organisation and operation of the client, including internal corporate organisation as an NBFI and regulatory advice on a case-by-case basis;
– multiple banks and non-bank financial institutions on both domestic and EU banking regulatory matters required to implement complex projects and providing close support at each stage of their development.
