With expertise in employment law and corporate M&A, as well as litigation, Nicoleta Vadeanu is Associate at PBC Attorneys at law, previously being a team member of one the leading law firms in CEE.

She assisted clients on various labour matters, including individual and collective dismissal, and was involved in drafting documents and conducting research on cross border posting, employees leasing, individual and collective dismissal, unilateral change of job description and other labour issues. Nicoleta Vadeanu assisted a leading international technology company on numerous employment matters and offered consultancy to an automotive company in relation with their collective dismissal project.

In the corporate M&A area, she prepared the due diligence process for a number of companies and assisted clients on incorporation of the companies, shares transfer, change of directors and other day-to-day operations relating to the companies’ activity. Her responsibilities include drafting and reviewing documents to ensure corporate deals are legally compliant with the Romanian legislation, conducting research and drafting opinions on a wide range of issues – including clinical trials and non-bank financial institution.

Nicoleta Vadeanu was involved in numerous litigation cases at PBC Attorneys at Law, assisting both corporate and individual clients in their judicial proceedings. She represented a number of clients to recover their properties confiscated during the communist regime, as well as to obtain compensatory measures, and assisted an important Romanian group of companies in expropriation and defence of land property rights procedures.

In the employment litigation area, she recently assisted two companies in court cases related to the termination of a former employee’s contract.
