Leonard Stroescu

Leonard is Partner of Moroeanu & Asociatii, being part of the team since its early beginnings. He’s an experienced skilled litigator, with a sharp understanding of the litigation process, from the early stages of the case to the enforcement procedures. Leonard also handles complex insurance cases under national jurisdiction, but also with international elements, at the highest level of representation, granting legal assistance to key players in the insurance field.

Furthermore, Leonard has a highly pragmatical approach to handling cases, combining both the experience gained in managing sophisticated cases, but also strong knowledge in various fields of law, to achieve a result that fits the client’s best interest.

– assisting both key players in the banking industry as well as top management employees in a series of labor disputes arising from restructurings and collective dismissals.
– assisting a key player in the digital marketing industry in various commercial disputes and enforcement procedures;
– assisting key players on the insurance market in connection with a portfolio of contentious case-files opposing The Policyholders Guarantee Fund (Romanian “FGA”), with an aggregate value of more than EUR 10 million;
– assisting a key player in the insurance industry on a day-to day basis consultancy regarding the interpretation of the provisions of Law no. 132/2017 and in relation with the Financial Supervisory Authority requests;
– assisting a key player in the insurance industry in cases regarding the annulment of various decisions issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority;
– assisting a key player in the insurance industry in a dispute (car accident damages) with a value of more than EUR 5 million;
– assisting key players in the insurance industry in a series of disputes before SAL-Fin;
– assisting a key player in the insurance industry in a dispute (damages covered by a D&O policy) with a value of more than EUR 5 million;
– assisting a key player in the banking industry in a dispute with a total value of more than EUR 300 million;
– assisting key players in the banking industry in various disputes regarding consumer rights, including cases related to the application of the provisions of Law no. 77/2016;
– assisting a key player in the oil industry in a series of labor disputes with a total value of more than EUR 10 million;
