Laura Grigore is a senior counsel in the CMS Bucharest team specialising in managing complex niche mandates in the fields of technology, privacy and personal data protection, cybersecurity, resilience and business continuity.

Throughout her career, she managed diverse interdisciplinary mandates generating tailored solutions for clients’ businesses compliance. She advises clients on GDPR implementation tailored solutions, structuring e-commerce and related marketing rules, profiling algorithms adequacy, RFID and GPS monitoring implementation, data sharing and cloud schemes set up and operation, software and other new technologies implementation, while keeping track of IT/ cybersecurity edge.

Laura is also a highly experienced niche consultant in strategic risk advisory for environmental and sustainability. Over the years, she acted as key consultant in significant projects for environmental protection compliance, including IPPC permitting, EIA performance, REACH rules application, biocides use, waste management on the full range of streams and for the implementation of producer’s extended liability schemes in Romania, as well as Environmental Fund related obligations and complex pollution remediation projects.
