Ionuț Șerban

Ionut Serban is a consulting engineer who has over 18 years of experience in the field of Roads/Motorways, works construction, construction supervision, contract management and design services.

He also has over 15 years of experience in roads/motorways construction supervision under the FIDIC Red Book Contract Conditions 1999 and Yellow Book Design and Build.
As contract coordinator he was involved in 5 motorway construction supervision projects with a total cost of the supervised works exceeding 300 million euro. Sound working experience in EU and World Bank funded projects related to contract administration. Sound experience in management of the site offices, maintain records of site activities.
Sound experience in reviewing the site management plans and site monitoring progress reports, claim evaluation, Variation’s preparation. Very good experience in preparation of IPC’s based on RFI’s approvals, cash flow estimate, back up documentation according particular conditions and general conditions of the contract. Very good skills of managing works contracts.

He is also acting as an appointed expert by International Commercial Arbitration Court attached to the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bucharest Tribunal. He acts as technical adviser and expert witness for arbitration and litigation procedures for infrastructure, civil, sewerage and water plants projects.

He is a member of Romanian Association of Consulting Engineers (RACE – ARIC), listed as an adjudicator on Romanian list of Adjudicators (ARIC President list of approved adjudicators) and member of Romanian Society of Construction Law.
