Diana Șchiopu is a partner in Firon Bar-Nir and a member of both the Real Estate & Construction and Corporate & Commercial Departments.

Diana has more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of real estate and commercial law. Diana advises various Romanian and Foreign investors in complex real estate and commercial transactions. She assists in drafting, negotiation and implementation of agreements relating to land acquisition, authorization, construction, compliance with building laws and regulations, sales and lease.

Diana specializes in residential projects, and she has been involved in all phases of development of several residential projects in Bucharest and throughout Romania. Within this practice, Diana has provided legal assistance for large real estate developers in connection with the purchase of numerous properties including land, office and residential buildings, shopping malls and commercial centres with an aggregate value of more than 30,000,000 Euro and in the later sale of more than 500 housing units. Diana also advises clients on all on-giong corporate and commercial issues of their activity.

Diana was also involved in high profile banking and finance transactions, assisting clients in project financing and re-financing. In addition, Diana provides legal assistance and consultancy on various topics on public procurement, renewable energy, corporate and commercial, gambling, labour law matters.
