Diana has been a member of our team since February 2018 and she is part of the Commercial department, advising clients on complex data protection projects, contracts, life sciences and pharma and consumer protection. Prior to joining us, Diana has gained experience in practice areas such as M&A, capital markets and competition in various industries such as banking, transport, pharma and medical.

Some of her most recent highlights include:

– Conducting and coordinating all stages of the data protection compliance project for a large group of companies from the construction products industry (data audit and interviews, drafting action plans and the necessary templates, implementing and adapting the templates according to the specificities of the company);

– Preparing and giving training sessions on practical implementation of the GDPR for participants from various industries such as retail, banking, tobacco and automotive and conducting data protection impact assessments and legitimate interest balancing tests for complex personal data processing activities;

– Assisting a large central laboratory active in the clinical trials and medical research industry on the drafting and negotiation of service agreements concluded with entities from different levels of the medical research process, on both clinical trials and data protection matters;

– Drafting and negotiating an international sale-purchase agreement of equipment for a production line for a major company active in the bakery industry, which involved all services related to the installation, testing and commissioning of the equipment, as well as specifics related to payment though letter of credit.
