Cristina Lefter

Cristina Lefter is an attorney at law with significant experience in business and commercial law matters, including M&A transactions and competition law advice, member of the Bucharest Bar and the Romanian Bar Association since 2011.

Cristina has developed her professional background by working with the local office of a Magic Law Firm in Romania, as well as with the affiliated law firm to a Big 4 company in Romania, while further enhancing her commercial oriented approach by working independently and as in-house transaction counsel with the investment arm of one of the leading firms in CEE specialized in acquisitions and servicing of NPLs portfolios. From this latter position, Cristina has been involved in a series of acquisitions in Romania, as well as in other jurisdictions within the CEE. Cristina is currently part of the team at LC Legal Proof (lclegalproof.com) – a boutique law firm, working on M&A projects, corporate and commercial matters, as well as coordinating the competition law practice of the firm. Cristina is also founder of and writer at LegalBrain (legalbrain.blog), the business law blog for professionals in Romania.
