Crina Ciobanu’s practice is predominantly focused on domestic and cross-border real estate investment and finances. She has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the transactional market and related financial schemes, specifically regarding the acquisition financings, project financings and general banking matters. Crina frequently represents clients in all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, joint ventures and financings involving all property types.

Crina has also represented major foreign and domestic investors in connection with various construction and infrastructure investments throughout Romania, offering the clients hands-on advice at every stage of the project, from the tendering phase, up to mediation and arbitration, when necessary.

Advising a major oil & gas company in relation to the land acquisition, permitting and construction of a gas project consisting of offshore production platforms, a gas transmission pipeline and a gas treatment plant.

Assisting a Romanian top real estate developer of residential projects in Bucharest in relation to financing schemes for the construction and development of several residential projects.

Assisting a major international fund in a EUR 30 million real estate transaction involving the largest private hospital in Romania, including all stages of the transaction, as well as project financing.

Advising large FMGC and cosmetics distributors in Central and Eastern Europe in relation to various property management issues with landlords of various premises the company is currently leasing.

Advising a major international express, mail delivery and logistics services company, in connection with the extension of its operational and logistics center located on the outskirts of Bucharest.

Advising two important providers of rail infrastructure services in several disputes under the ICC Rules, regarding claims arising out of two FIDIC contracts concerning rehabilitation projects of the national railway.
