Corina’s expertise mainly focuses on corporate and mergers & acquisitions projects, having assisted large multinational clients from a wide range of industries (automotive, agriculture, postal services, real estate, food and pharma), on matters ranging from multimillion-euro mergers and spin-offs to day-to-day legal aspects. She has also been involved in regulatory projects, which entailed, among others, assisting clients in diversifying their operational portfolio by obtaining the required permits and licenses (e.g. licensing of intermediation services related to road freight transport) and various legal aspects related to the latest AML legislation amendments, as well as conducting due diligence on fire safety matters. Corina also acts as an advisor in relation to various day-to-day commercial/civil law matters, such as supplier agreements, sale-purchase agreements, lease contracts and other legal aspects related to their operations.

Her most recent corporate and M&A projects include:
– advice to one of the leading parts manufacturers in the automotive industry in connection with the EUR 3 MIL spin-off of its business in Romania;
– assistance and representation in court to the global leader in mobility safety (manufacturer of safety-critical components for the automotive industry) in relation to the merging of its Romanian operations, entailing assets with a value of approx. EUR 130 MIL;
– advice in relation to the intra-group takeover of a 25% stake in the Romanian subsidiary of the world’s largest pork processor and hog producer and to all day-to-day corporate matters;
– assistance to a large real estate developer in relation to the mortgage agreements and corporate approvals required for obtaining a EUR 23 MIL financing of an office building in downtown Bucharest;
– assistance to one of the most important Austrian aluminum industry key players in relation to the corporate part of its acquisition of a Romanian extrusion plant;
– advice to one of the key worldwide postal services providers in connection with all its regulatory and day-to-day corporate matters;
– assistance provided to a major supplier of building materials in connection with its commercial transactions part of a large tax evasion criminal file;
– advice to the Romanian subsidiaries of an important agricultural and wood industry Luxembourg-based company in relation to the corporate approvals required in order to obtain a EUR 3 MIL financing of its operations;
– assistance to a large pharmacy chain holder in relation to various pledge agreements;
– assistance to a major agriculture company in relation to various commercial agreements with its suppliers.
