Ana Radnev is an English and Romanian qualified partner in the International Finance group of CMS and the Head of CMS’ Finance team in Romania. She acts for sponsors and lenders on complex structured multi-jurisdictional financing transactions and restructurings in Central and South-eastern Europe, Turkiye and the Baltic countries, having been covering the region for over 20 years.

Ana advises on a wide range of event driven transactions including sponsor led leveraged financings, infrastructure finance and restructuring.  Ana has particular expertise representing financial sponsors and lenders on bilateral or syndicated transactions in the infrastructure, TMC, technology and healthcare sectors. Ana is particularly focusing on ESG linked financings and ESG considerations in finance transactions.

– A club of banks consisting of BNP Paribas, UniCredit Slovakia, Komerční banka and CSOB on the infrastructure financing to support the acquisition by Infracapital of the Slovak utility company GGE a.s. from the Slovak conglomerate Grafobal Group.
– New York private equity firm, Clarion Capital Partners LLP on the financing, provided by Erste Bank and Komerční banka, for the purchase of a majority stake in Moravia IT, a global localisation and translation business headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic.
– A UK debt fund on the financing of a management buy-out of a Czech based company with operations across CEE.
– Syntaxis on the structured financing to a Romanian oil sector company.
– Advent International on the financing for the acquisition of Partners in Pet Food, a leading European manufacturer of pet food, from Provimi Group.
– Darby Private Equity in relation to the provision of financing to Energy 21, one of the largest Czech solar power plants developers and operators.
– BNP Paribas, Erste Bank, ING, UniCredit, Banca IMI, Credit Agricole, Raiffeisen and Société Générale on Mid Europa Partner’s EUR 330m leveraged recapitalisation of SBB Serbia, Telemach Slovenia and Telemach Bosnia, the leading cable TV and broadband internet providers in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
– ING and EBRD on the structured financing to Pronet, a Turkish security company owned by UK private equity fund Cinven.
