Alina Moldovan

Alina Moldovan is the managing partner of Firon Bar-Nir and coordinator of the Real Estate and Construction department, assisting major international players on the Romanian real estate market.
Alina is bringing over 15 years experience to her clients, the intimate knowledge of the property industry enabling her to provide both legal and practical advice on complex commercial property transactions. Alina has experience in structuring and negotiating terms for complex property acquisitions and for sales of residential, commercial and industrial development projects, her portfolio including a wide range of major real estate projects based on Bucharest as well as in other major cities, such as Constanta, Timisoara, Brasov, Iasi, Ploiesti.
As during the years Alina accrued significant experience also in bankruptcy and liquidation related matters, starting with 2010, she is registered as a certified insolvency practitioner and an associate in IS-ROM S.P.R.L., a separate insolvency unit. Since then, clients enjoyed Alina’s pragmatic advice on matters related to voluntary business reorganization, restructuring and/or winding up, judicial management, compromise offers and arrangement structures, acting for both debtors in insolvency as well as representing secured or unsecured creditors seeking to protect their rights, committees, bondholders, asset purchasers, equity sponsors, and other interested parties involved in insolvency procedures, both within and outside court procedures.
And last, Alina is coordinating the students’ internship programme aiming to provide the opportunity of a 3 months internship within the law firm for students of law in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of study.
